meh for a historical facts book. not much that i didn’t already know from watching television and not gripping and entertaining enough to grab my attention like horrible histories. it’s marketed (and written) to be this big entertaining read but it’s not.
and i know he’s just writing to a british audience but come on. seems a bit full of himself if you asked me.
